Media Fire Link: Okaeri by Ayaka Iida
I haven’t watched very many live action dramas since I finished watching Nodame Cantable. There aren’t very many shows that I can say that I absolutely loved beyond understanding, but Nodame was definitely one of those shows. Anytime one of my friends have asked me for a recommendation, Nodame is the first one that I give (then Kim Sam Soon and Full House because their romantic comedy classics). The comedy in the drama was over the top, but the acting wasn’t horrendous. Very few parts of the show were dedicated to romance, but the moments that were present, made more butterflies flutter in my tummy than the thought of my first crush. And the music performances, though feigned and exaggerated, still captured my attention and kept me wanting more.
Since then, I haven’t had the urge to watch another drama. I want to watch more dramas, of course! It’s just, I haven’t heard of anything that’s capable of surpassing what I had with Nodame! (Chiaki wasn’t even that cute! Sigh. But at least he grew on me!) Anyway, all of this talk about the Skip Beat! Anime and the Skip Beat! Taiwanese drama made me return back to one of my oldest and favorite haunts, d-addicts.com, and I found out that they made a live action out of the manga, Zettai Kareshi!
